What is the OGC?

This is the Office of Government and Commerce, part of the UK government, and formerly known as the CCTA.


Is ITIL an international method?

Yes, very much so.


Who is it for?

According to the OGC, it is intended for IT service providers, IT directors and managers, and CIOs.


Are ITIL qualifications recognized worldwide?

Yes. The certificates issued by both ISEB or EXIN are recognized everywhere.


What is ITIL v3?

The lengthy process of updating ITIL is now complete. The process was known as the ITIL Refresh. The new version is ITIL v3 (or ITIL Version 3).
