The ITIL Refresh was the process of updating the old version of ITIL (version 2) to become the new version (ITIL Version 3 or ITIL v3).

This was a lengthy procedure comprising varies 'tranches'. However, authors were appointed and the process resulted in the nore core volumes being published in the midddle of 2007. A number of support materials are still under development.
