Version 2 is the previous release of ITIL. It was organized in a rather different fashion to the current released, and spanned a larger number of books, which were known at the time as 'sets'.
The two main books were considered to be the following pair :
As well as books covering Software Asset management and The Business Perspective.
In May 2007 these were replaced by the version 3 books, which adopted a different approach to service management abd were documented in five volumes. These are described on the ITIL Books page.
